Forest Grove man dies in early morning Aloha traffic crash

A Forest Grove man is dead following an early morning crash in Aloha.
At 1:23 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a three-vehicle collision on Southwest Farmington Road near Southwest 190th Avenue, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.
When deputies arrived, they found 62-year-old Rene Jones of Forest Grove dead at the scene.
According to investigators, Jones was traveling westbound on Farmington Road when his vehicle veered out of the lane and struck an oncoming car head-on.
Jones was killed in the crash, and authorities say his family has been notified.
The driver of the eastbound vehicle was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and the occupants of a third vehicle involved were not hurt, the release noted.
